Pat mcgrath subliminal dark star dupes11/12/2023 ![]() ![]() Something about the dimension and effect of the shadows in that particular color scheme makes it look so luxurious even if you aren’t skilled at eyeshadow. Whether you want to pack on that gorgeous blue, or swipe on a beautiful duochrome, it’s so easy to pull off these shades without too much of a fuss. The Subliminal, because it has one of the most wearable blue color schemes I’ve encountered. Now just imagine how much you can amplify them using a primer or glitter glue!ĪAH that’s such a difficult question haha! I think it really depends on what color story you are going for, but if I had to pick, I can narrow it down to two: Mothership I: Subliminal and Mothership V: Bronze Seduction. I wanted to showcase just how reflective these shadows are without the assistance of an adhesive. As I mentioned, these swatches were done using no primer. I've found that still images don't accurately display the true depth and dimension of these shadows, so I figured I'd take videos instead in direct sunlight. Personally, yes these palettes are worth it for me, and one of those factors is these special shades! I see many people asking if these palettes are worth it, and I honestly think that answer differs from person to person depending on various factors. They really are unlike any other shadows I possess in my collection, and I do own quite a few other luxury brands. One major reason I purchase these palettes is due to these beautiful special shades. So.I was getting bored out of my mind, and I decided to swatch all the "special shades" in Pat Mcgrath's Mothership palettes (the four shades on the right), as well as her Blitz Astral Quads. *Videos taken in direct sunlight, around two swipes using fingers, no primer, warm neutral skin tone (NC30-37) Blitz Astral Quad - Iconic Illumination.Inappropriate/rude comments will not be tolerated on this subreddit.
